I tried to draw a Red squirrel in miniature.

“Red squirrels are common in Europe and Asia, but are now rare here in the UK, so it’s a real treat when you spot one of these fluffy rust-coloured characters.
There is a huge amount of detail in this painting to capture, so working on a large scale proves to be very helpful. I painted mine at about 14 x 18 inches (36cm x 45cm). Even at that scale, I had to use a ten-zero brush to paint the fine details. It will take a while to finish painting, but you can work even larger than I can so that you can easily paint the details.
There are several visual textures to capture, including long fur and short fur. I will explain step by step. That said, this tutorial is long. So, look at this as a project and take your time to observe and enjoy the wonderful details of this adorable woodland creature. ”Anna

あまり濃くならないよう心掛けましたが、すこし力が入ってしまいました。
The illustration of the red squirrel takes 5 to 6 minutes to draw just the overall image. I tried not to make it too dark, but it ended up being a bit strong.

Paint the entire body with the basic color of the squirrel’s body. It took 3 days.

The red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris), commonly known as a squirrel, is a mammal belonging to the order Rodentia. Red squirrels are widespread across Eurasia and North Africa, and are especially found in forested areas of Europe and Asia.
Appearance: Red squirrels are small mammals, about 20-25 centimeters long, with a tail about 15-20 centimeters long. Its body is gray to reddish brown, its ears are upright, and its fur is soft and dense. There are tufts of hair, especially around the ears.
Diet: Red squirrels are primarily arboreal, feeding on fruits, nuts, seeds, flowers, insects, and bird eggs. They have a wide food range and seek out different foods depending on the season and habitat.
Habitat: Red squirrels are adapted to a wide range of habitats and can be found in forests, parks, gardens, and urban areas. They often forage for food and food provided by humans, especially in gardens and parks.
