密教の軽典の世界を仏画として描かれた、金剛界の大日如来像は、悟りを開く前の修行の最中にあるとされている。宇宙の中心で光り輝く存在であり、胴体の周りを炎でおおわれている光は地球上のすべてのものを照らすことにより慈悲を注いでいるのです。
