Hanasaka Jiisan’s e-book introduction.

It is a fairy tale that a gentle old couple and a greedy next-door old couple treat a puppy with a mysterious power, and the former becomes happy and the latter becomes unhappy. I decided to draw a part of it at once. It is a scene where a kind old couple lives. It is an old-fashioned scenery where you are eating vegetables that are harvested with bamboo shoots, although they are poor, while keeping warm with the irori. Imagine whether this is morning, noon, or evening.

心優しい年老いた夫婦と、欲深い隣の老夫婦が、不思議な力を持った子犬の接し方によって、前者は幸福に後者は不幸になるという内容のにほん昔話です。さっそく、その一部を描くことにしました。こころやさしい老夫婦が暮らしている情景です。昔ながらの、いろりで暖を取りながら、貧しいながらも、はたけで収穫した野菜などを煮込んで食事をしている風景です。これは、朝、昼、晩、どちらの様子か想像してみてください。
