レッサーパンダ（Lesser Panda）は、一般にレッサーパンダまたはレッサーパンダとして知られる小型哺乳動物の種です。科学的には「アイルルルス・フルトン」（Ailurus fulgens）という名前で知られており、彼らはネコ科に属します。レッサーパンダは主にアジアの一部地域に生息し、その特徴的な外見やかわいらしい姿勢から愛されています。
- 外見: レッサーパンダは赤褐色の柔らかな毛皮を持ち、白い耳と顔、環状の尾を特徴とします。その白い顔には縞模様が入り、大きな丸い目が印象的です。彼らの外見はパンダ科（クマ科）のジャイアントパンダに類似していますが、体サイズははるかに小さく、ジャイアントパンダよりも小型の動物です。
- 分布: レッサーパンダは主にアジアの東喜瑪拉雅山脈地域に分布しています。彼らはネパール、ビルマ、中国、インド、ブータンなどの国々で見られ、標高の高い山岳地帯の森林に生息します。

Introduction of red panda
- The Lesser Panda is a species of small mammal commonly known as the lesser panda or lesser panda. Scientifically known as Ailurus fulgens, they belong to the cat family. Red pandas mainly inhabit parts of Asia and are loved for their distinctive appearance and cute posture. Below are some common characteristics about red pandas:
- Appearance: Red pandas have soft reddish-brown fur, white ears and face, and a ringed tail. Its white face has a striped pattern and its large round eyes are impressive. Their appearance is similar to giant pandas of the family Pandaidae (family Bearidae), but their body size is much smaller and they are smaller animals than giant pandas.
- Distribution: Red pandas are mainly distributed in the Dongxilaya Mountains region of Asia. They are found in countries such as Nepal, Burma, China, India, and Bhutan, where they live in high-altitude, mountainous forests.
- Ecology: Red pandas mainly live in trees, where they live, forage, and rest. They are herbivores that mainly eat bamboo, but may also eat fruits, insects, and small animals.
- Threats: Red pandas are under threat from habitat loss, ecosystem destruction, poaching, and bamboo logging, and their wild population is on the decline. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) rates red pandas as “vulnerable.”
